Position Description:
The WEM (Wireless Expense Management) Analyst is responsible for analyzing and reporting of clients' wireless spend, to ensure consistency with client policies and contractual pricing, while focusing on cost savings opportunities. The WEM Analyst is responsible for confirming that the carrier data loaded in the Wireless Tracker is consistent with the carrier invoice totals and that the charges are reflective of an adherence to the clients' mobility policy. The WEM Analyst also completes a monthly reconciliation of each carrier invoice to find anomalies or discrepancies in carrier data and to ensure accurate and timely completion of client AP/GL allocation files. This role is also responsible for providing clients with cost savings opportunities by providing an analysis of both billed and unbilled wireless charges.
Position Duties:
Monthly carrier invoice reconciliation
Validation of billing code assignments for unassigned assets
Validation of carrier discounting, plan pricing, and equipment pricing
Provides AP/GL Allocation files, as needed
Generates monthly WEM reporting and verifies automated reporting accuracy
Analyzes monthly WEM report data
Post bill optimization
Unbilled usage optimization
Provide rate plan analysis savings recommendations
Tracking and reporting of obtained client savings
Provide additional customer reports, as requested
Desired Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in mathematics/data required or 2+ years experience in related role
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook
Moderate to high level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Detail oriented, analytical, and inquisitive
Extremely organized with strong time-management skills
