As the SHEQ Manager you will be responsible for ensuring safety, health, environment and quality are in place and are being followed by both sub-contract and direct labour. Adopting a 'Safety First' mentality to all activities your role will be to embed the culture to ensure compliance and approach matches the desired performance.

About the role

Champion the safety strategy at every opportunity. Preparing and enacting a site wide road map to ensure continued improvement whilst ensuring cost control is maintained.
Establishing the Safety Health Environmental Quality priorities for the site and setting out justifications for these priorities.
Support other areas of the business including periodic site visits as required
Work with and support the Quality Systems Manager in preparation of robust SOP's for the work activities
Drive efficiency through optimisation of resources available whilst looking to modernise the application of Safety into every workplace
Co-ordinate the activities to ensure robust implementation of systems and processes to ensure the management ownership of EHS issues on the site.
Providing a knowledgeable resource for the site to refer to for EHS and product Safety enquiries.
Own the ISO(phone number removed) and ISO90001 process for the site
Work with the manufacturing engineer to support the implementation of future digital processes.
Support the development of training material for the seismic process flow line
To develop and implement SHEQ practices in line with the central SHEQ team.
About you

Experience in manufacturing from an aerospace/automotive/modular building or similar background.
Experience of managing your work load and excellent project management skills
Track record of building motivated multidiscipline teams able to deliver tangible improvements to the business.
NEBOSH or equivalent - minimum
Environmental qualification - would be a positive
Experience of ISO 14001 / OHSAS 18001 systems
Training and presentation experience
