Title: Recruiting Manager

Type: Direct hire; Full-time

Pay: $37,500-$41,600/year with the opportunity for bonus and commission

Shift: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Flexible hours

Location: Nashville, TN

Summary:

The Recruiting Manager will provide human resources services for Staffmark's customers, including but not limited to, making decisions relating to the hiring, placement, discipline, and termination of temporary employees placed with Staffmark's customers. Assesses and evaluates customer needs, determines and defines detailed job requirements. Evaluates, assesses, selects, orients, and educates job candidates for Staffmark's customers in order to ensure the best placement of an employee for Staffmark's customers as well as for the best placement for the employee. Serves as liaison between customers and employees to create and implement processes to meet the human resources needs of the customer and Staffmark's temporary employees. Evaluates worksite performance of employees and makes decisions regarding appropriate measures to resolve disciplinary issues. Develops and fosters professional partnerships with customers to ensure their human resources needs are met.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Interacts with customers to evaluate and assess the customers' staffing needs.
  • Evaluates and interviews applicants, decides on appropriate assessments and evaluates assessment results and references.
  • Analyzes all pertinent information to evaluate and decide which applicants should be extended a Conditional Job Offer.
  • Extends Conditional Job Offer to qualified applicants and establishes appropriate pay rates based on individual applicant's skills, abilities and experience.
  • Serves as intermediary between employees and customers by evaluating attendance and performance, using discretion and judgement to counsel and discipline employees related to performance issues, and resolving issues to the satisfaction of the employee and customer.
  • Evaluates and determines best methods to develop new business for the Company including researching additional services, developing relationships, and understanding the staffing needs and trends for current customers.
  • Contributes to the Company's candidate database by evaluating and implementing the best methods for recruiting potential candidates.
  • Maintain all appropriate paperwork and documentation, enter pertinent information into computer system, and communicates candidates' qualifications to customers.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.


Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or institution
  • 2-3 years of customer service / human resources experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of and ability to use Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to multitask using many different
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and customer service skills
