We are seeking a Business Office Assistant
Location: Providence Place Senior Living located in South Minneapolis, MN
Schedule: Full Time, Day Hours

Responsibilities:
Verify and maintain resident accounts; make any changes in resident status, i.e. Insurance, HMO, Responsible Party, Medicare, Medical Assistance, Resource Amount, etc.

Analyze and submit billing of all accounts (private, resource, Medicare, Medical Assistance, Insurance) on a monthly basis. Transmit statements on a timely basis.

Coordinate with Medicare Nurse to ensure timely billing of Medicare.

Maintain Medicare Log for accuracy and up to date information.


Qualifications:
Previous experience in Skilled Nursing billing preferred

High School graduate or GED equivalent

Ability to read, write and verbally communicate clearly and confidently

Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to train, coach, and motivate others
