Works with the Lead Teacher to prepare and implement the daily lesson plans and ensures a high level of interaction with children
Experience with Creative Curriculum preferred.
Strong familiarity with lesson planning incorporating all domains of the Ohio Early Learning Content Standards.
Maintains a clean, safe and emotionally supportive environment that is conducive to learning and is centered on the needs and abilities of the children
Completes developmental screenings & assessments Maintains documentation for services provided, progress reports and attendance
Works as part of a team with Lead Teacher, center staff and Director
Builds positive relationships with families
Participates in staff meetings, conferences, professional development
Associates degree in ECE or related field; CPL 2; Child Development Certificate (CDA); or a High School diploma along with enrollment in a CDA or approved Associate degree program
Experience in a classroom setting and with children preferred
Willingness to update job knowledge with required ODJFS Licensing Rules and SUTQ
