We are currently offering a $10,000.00 Sign-On bonus for a twenty-four (24) month commitment for this position.

LAMC is currently offering an up to $1000.00 per month rental incentive for up to six months for this position for a newly hired applicant who makes the decision to move to Los Alamos and reside in the community.

This position is a night postion between the hours of 8:30pm and 6:30am.

Performs diagnostic testing on patient samples to aid physicians in the diagnosis and/or monitoring of various disease states

Follows standardized procedures and helps prepare samples for testing

Operates laboratory equipment in a high-quality, effective manner.

Analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability, and critical limits, and reports/documents results per organizational standards.

Performs Quality Assurance work to ensure accuracy of equipment

Job Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Requires: Bachelors' degree

Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action

Licenses: Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology or Related Field. ASCP, AMT, or Dept of Health and Human Services Certified.

Requires CPR certification within 90 days of employment. . Basic Phlebotomy skills are also necessary.
