Head of Engineering

Our Bedford based client is looking for an experienced Head of engineering to work alongside one of the most successful Established in their field and industry in Bedford. This role is reporting into the MD and current head of engineering. You will lead and develop our key technical team, the ongoing success of this team plays a major role in the success and evolution of the company and you will thrive on developing skills at all levels in the manufacturing process, production and test development engineering disciplines.
Hours: Full time
Salary: Up to £65,000 DOE
Duties:
Lead and develop the technical team.
Project management.
To deliver essential build processes derived from customer data.
Promote business and group success necessitating occasional international travel.
Identifying, Supporting, and embedding software tools and hardware options used to deliver designed functional test solutions.
Best practice use of manufacturing execution systems.
Commissioning the latest printed circuit assemblies and manufacturing process test systems.
Experience in hardware & software design and introducing these into quality management systems
