Job Summary

The Information Technology Director is responsible for collaborating across all reLink departments to define and implement technology, applications, process automation, reporting and analytics solutions for the company. The role will lead day-to-day project portfolio management, operations, design, verification and implementation of solutions by both internal and external resources in line with the overall company business and technology strategy.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Work across departments to identify analyze, and validate business process and technology requirements and resulting benefits

· Translate business needs them into formal requirements and design specifications suitable for implementation and verification

· Coordinate IT portfolio process to prioritize and schedule solution implementation according to strategy set by upper management; provide regular status reporting

· Support architecture and design of solutions in line with overall company strategy; help identify and select cost-effective third-party software, hardware and services as needed

· Manage detailed project implementation plans, risks, schedules, testing, and budgets

· Verify, validate, maintain and enhance solutions; triage and resolve break-fix issues

· Identify and report need for upgrades and major architecture and configuration changes

· Define, implement and verify security policies implemented and working across technology stack; manage activation, de-activation and policy assignments for users

· Prepare documentation, deliver end-user training, and support rollouts and deployments

· Perform post project reviews and identify and recommend ways to make project delivery more efficient and effective

· Maintain confidentiality of company information

· Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by management

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar discipline

· 5 Years relevant IT project management and business analyst experience the entire technology lifecycle

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

· Proven experience in similar roles and environments

· Full technology lifecycle experience with proven proficiency in project management, business analysis, specifications, and technical solution design and evaluation

· Proven ability to balance technology opportunities, business needs, and budgets

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Vendor selection and management experience

· Understanding of business sales, operations, finance, and analytics systems

· Proven leader-doer mentality and approach

· Ability to manage multiple ongoing tasks and projects effectively and consistently set and meet delivery expectations

· Ability to collaborate effectively with others, able to manage assigned vendors

· Detail oriented in performing tasks, managing records, and reporting

· Demonstrates personal accountability, initiative, ethics, and integrity in achieving results

Physical Demands and Work Environment

· This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, etc.

· The physical demand described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This role is required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit, stand, walk and use hands to finger.

· Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

· Normal working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM

· Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand

· This is a salary, exempt position


· Minimal travel, required as needed

· Occasional vendor and customer visits are likely
