Program the sequence of machining operations, tool selection and tool set-up necessary to machine material to specified dimensions.
Ability to use programming languages, e.g. Master Cam and Surf Cam.
Must be able to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and other input to determine proper dimensions, tools, and locations to ensure correct programming for creating parts.
Ability to run computer simulations to verify the accuracy of programs and ability to adapt or modify existing programs.
Efficiently catalog and store programs for future use.
Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Sales, and other personnel as needed.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of CNC Programming (Payrate commensurate with experience)
Education: High school diploma, Trade school or college a plus.
Shift: 7am - 3pm.
