Permasteelisa North America is currently recruiting for a Building Information Expert Intern to join our Windsor team!

The program provides you with exposure to day to day activities allowing you to use your knowledge gained through school, challenging you and helping you build your professional experience.


Job Summary: As a BIE Intern at Permasteelisa North America, you will be a key member of a project team challenged by the unique nature of every project we create. If you are the right candidate for this position, you will use your engineering/construction background to lead the team of Building Information Designers and Junior Designers. This team provides proper bill of material to production planning.

Responsibilities:


• Contribute to the façade system definition supporting the System Design Leader and the Project Design Manager

• Contribute to the Lot breakdown in collaboration with Project Design Manager, Project Manager, and Production planning

• Ensure all releases are as per shop drawing, specification and issued on time for production

• Oversee Order Requests required for assembly of curtain wall

Minimum qualifications:

• Applicants should be in the process of a degree, or a recent college graduate in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical Engineering field or Industrial Engineering.

• Proficiency in MS Office. Knowledge of AUTOCAD, Inventor

Preferred qualifications:

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Excellent communication skills
